Steven I. Fox, Partner

Steven Fox represents corporations, large and small, in connection with a variety of complex business disputes. He focuses on commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation and appeals, and has a particular expertise in real estate.

Steven handles much of the firm’s real estate litigation and related matters and has intricate knowledge of the complex real estate laws, procedures, logistics, rules, and regulations that govern all aspects of commercial real estate. He uses that expertise to get the job done quickly and efficiently.

Recently, Steven successfully opposed a tenant’s challenge to escalation charges in a major Park Avenue building, vacated notices of pendency filed against investment properties, set aside a fraudulent conveyance of real property, and pierced the corporate veil to uncover personal liability of officers, managers and members of several corporate entities. In addition, Steven was part of a team of attorneys that relied upon a Federal statute to void numerous contracts to purchase to-be-constructed condominium apartments.

From 1998 until becoming a partner at the Law Firm of Wrobel Markham LLP, Steven was an associate at its predecessor firms David Wrobel PC and Wrobel, Markham & Schatz LLP.
