Steven I. Fox, Partner
Steven Fox represents companies of all sizes in a wide range of complex business disputes. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, and appellate work, with a particular emphasis on real estate. He also drafts and negotiates commercial leases on behalf of both landlords and tenants.
Steven leads much of the firm’s real estate litigation and related matters. He possesses a deep understanding of the intricate laws, procedures, and regulations that govern commercial real estate, and he leverages that experience to deliver efficient, strategic, and results-driven outcomes.
Recently, Steven successfully opposed a tenant’s challenge to escalation charges in a major Park Avenue building; vacated notices of pendency filed against investment properties; set aside a fraudulent conveyance of real property; pierced the corporate veil to obtain personal liability against officers and members of several corporate entities; and secured a significant arbitration award, including attorneys’ fees, in a construction dispute. He was also part of a team that relied on a federal statute to void numerous contracts to purchase to-be-constructed condominium units.
From 1998 until becoming a partner at Wrobel Markham LLP, Steven served as an associate at its predecessor firms, David Wrobel PC and Wrobel, Markham & Schatz LLP.
